We visited the El Salvador and the Mendez-Ortiz Family farm, Talnamica, in February of 2020.  It was our first trip to origin and a wonderful one at that.  We spent time meeting really wonderful people, wandering through lush farms with beautiful coffee trees and their ripe, juicy cherries, and a healthy dose of pupusas. Witnessing the attention and efforts put towards the coffee and the humans behind it was inspiring and great to experience first-hand.  Hermann Mendez's adaptability, empathy and understanding he has towards the workers, pickers and people surrounding him was beautiful to witness.  We look forward to working with the Mendez-Ortiz family coffees for years to come.  This is our 3rd year carrying their coffee and we are grateful to have it back on our menu.
