This is our fifth year buying Amparo Botina's coffee and yet again, it's better than ever.

Words from APEX Coffee Imports:

2021 Update - "Wife, mother, grandmother and coffee farmer... that is Amparo Botina. Her farm sits in a valley with the Los Arrayanes river at the bottom. We have found that farms bordering this river produce excellent coffee and hers is no different. Apex has been working with Amparo since 2017 and the premium she's received had allowed her to install a covered raised bed system for drying her coffee. The flavour intensity and shelf life of her coffees have dramatically improved as a result. Each year, this coffee tastes better and better. We are incredibly proud and excited to feature her coffee again in 2021."

2022 Update -  This year, Amparo Botina separated her coffee into 3 lots.  We’re still getting word through Apex about what exactly the differences are between her lots.  When sampling her coffee this year, we chose the lot which we felt was balanced, sweet, and has a structured acidity that would delight in any brewing method.  Her coffee arrived a little later this year (as did everything), but her coffee is vaccuum packed to hold a long(er) shelf life and should be showing well on our menu for the next couple months.  One of our favourites, every year.
